This e mail goes to all at Proformance Unlimited.
I recently purchased a 461 Pontiac stoker and I want to tell you that I was absolutely overcome with the performance that this motor makes. I put the motor in my 66 GTO and fired it up. On the very first try it came to life and was an instant success. At first it sounded very much like a “Pro Stocker” but after the Police came and told me to quiet it down we hooked up the rest of the exhaust, now it sounded more like a Pro Stocker with Mufflers on!
The care and Professionalism you showed during the building process was amazing to me. In a day and age where money talks and you walk, you guys showed me how customer service is really supposed to be. The engine runs consistent at 180 degrees with 75 lbs. Of oil pressure @ 3k rpm, the vacuum canister was a necessity due to the larger cam. I have nothing but “Rave Reviews” about this engine and I hope I can generate some bus. Your way from the shows this will be in. Once again, Thanks for the experience.

Doug And Steve,
Just a few lines to let you know the motor (Chevy 350)has been installed. The motor is in creditable. Although I haven't wound it over 4200 rpm. it is smooth and responsive and has a bit of an attitude. I've matched it to a 200r4 extreme duty OD transmission, and a Chevy 12 bolt possi rear-end with 4.10 gears (3000 rpm=78 mph) added a 4 row desert-cooler radiator temp runs 176 to 180 on the highway 190 around town in traffic.
Just wanted to thank you guys for the excellent work and craftsmanship. It was well worth the wait the accolades I have received many and complimentary I'll recommend you to anybody.

Hello fellows at Proformance Unlimited!
Last year, I took my 68' Camaro apart, Replacing about 90% of the interior and had a body shop repaint and repair anything on the body that had any defects. I repainted the car dark blue with a white nose stripe and replaced all the chrome and lights.
The 383/450 HP motor I bought from you just put the icing on the cake! The power and sound made my 68' a dream come true. The motor started up as it did on my video. It runs better each time I carry it out for a drive. No adjustments so far.
It has been a pleasure dealing with you.

My name is mike and I own a 1966 2+2 K code mustang. I order a 302, 380 hp for my car. It was the best thing I could do for my car ------ it made it come alive. The motor was a perfect fit for my car.
Let me put it this way when I first got the motor in the car and running, my wife and I went for a ride and she told me it gave her anxiety attacks because of the power the motor gave the car. It may sound mean but I had a good laugh about it. Now she has no problems when she rides in it. She loves it as much as I do. I receive many complements on the motor that PROFORMANCE UNLIMITED built for me AND OF COURSE THE CAR. Great job guys.. Thank you guys again for all your help. It is not if, but when I get my next project I will buy another motor from you people. I would recommend to buy a motor from PROFORMANCE UNLIMITED they are very good in how they take care of there customers and how they build motors...
Thank you again

Steve & Crew
Just wanted to drop you guys a line and a HUGE THANK YOU on my 350/420hp motor. This 1966 Chevelle super sport was a 10 second street/strip car. It was my brothers car, then he passed away at age 44, when he died, so did the 472 cu. in. race motor.
My goal was to put the car back on the street and just have fun with it. So I turned to Proformance Unlimited for a turnkey crate motor. All I can say is "WOW". This motor is so strong! It's a pleasure to drive on the street. With Hooker 1 5/8" Super Comp headers and a full 3" Flow master exhaust, it still sounds and feels like a big block, With BFG drag radials, 0-100 MPH is a blast. Second car show, took home a trophy!
Thanks Proformance Unlimited

Holy F***ING COW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What a motor!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's INSANE, with a full exhaust system on it, it sounds like a dragster and the tick over is to die for. It's won the biggest look at me factory the moment it starts up.
I haven't had the "balls" yet to drive it. I think that a LOT more SERIOUS chassis checking is required before I drive this on the street.
So far 100% SATISFACTION guys.
Many, many thanks to Doug and to Steve and anyone else involved with this motor build. My friends, who are pretty hard engine builders in their own ways, are open mouthed at this motor.
I will get a video made and send to you. The link you sent to me with it running, good at that is, does NOT do your work justice. If this runs like it sounds it will be sensational! And I believe that it will. It picks up revs as fast as a two stroke motorcycle engine.
I have had some serious small block Chevrolet motors built.........but this............this is in another league.
Talk to you guys soon.
Bets regards to you all guys.
A VERY HAPPY customer.

Doug & Steve
I want to thank you for a great engine. I purchased a 347/425 in March for my Factory Five Cobra coupe. It was delivered on time and just a beautiful hunk to look at. After coupling it to the Tremec TKO 600 that you provided it was ready for the 1st. fire up on July 4th. It fired right up and put a big smile on my face. I was going to finish the car before I drove it but I couldn’t stand it. I put over 3500 miles on it this summer and fall with no problems except the coil died. The engine performs much better now with 3500 miles on it then when new. Temperatures and oil pressure are right on. I have all winter to do body work and paint; I’ll send photos when done. I did two track events, the second at NHIS 3 days ago----WOW

I wanted to drop you a line and tell you thanks for all the help you and your team have been in helping me select my engine and various other parts, but more importantly, how well this engine performs. This power plant (Ford 302) has totally transformed my sluggish Bronco into a muscle truck that has caught more than one unsuspecting hotrod by surprise. It’s backed by a built C-4 auto with Hurst shifter, and a 3500 stall from Transmission Specialties, Out back is a nine inch with a Detroit locker, and 31 spline chromoly shafts. The interior was recently treated to a new dash with pieces from Auto Meter and So Cal Speed Shop, and the transfer case is shifted by a modified piece from Lokar. Suspension includes all new springs, bushings, brake lines, and drive shafts by Wild Horses.
Thanks again for all your hard work. I have gladly recommended Proformance to several people with projects on the books.

Doug and Steve!
Your motors are first class! All the bugs are worked out and here in Italy all the rich Italians in their Ferrari's and Porches just stop and stare in total amazement when I come through town with the wicked 1987 WildStang powered by your 347 Stroker! This car runs soooooo strong the smiles are never ending! Thanks for all your support and help getting the motor here to Italy and helping my Italian mechanic's finally get the job completed. You truly run a 1st class organization! With your motor I'm doing American Muscle Cars proud in Italy! Thanks!
A VERY VERY Happy Customer!

Can't thank you all enough for helping get the 69 vette on the road....Both my brother and I, who built this car from scratch, found your helpfulness and expertise goes far beyond just building an engine. After your final custom tuning today, the ride home was pure pleasure. As a side note, your contacts and working relationships with other experts helped us solve problems that baffled others. Keep up the great work and we will continue to spread the word..

Doug and Steve,
Finally I have some pictures to send you. This is my 73 Mustang convertible after a 2 year restoration with my Ford 302 420 hp ProFormance Unlimited motor. It runs like a top. I only have about 500 miles on it so I am still light on the pedal but so far so good. It sounds good and response is great! I turn a lot of heads. I only wish I would have taken more time on design, maybe more chrome, etc. I have more projects in mind so I'm already thinking of my next motor from you. I hope you post the pictures on your web site.

I purchased a 383 stroker, 475 hp and I am so pleased at the performance. After sitting on the a tubbed TCI frame for a year it took only one crank to fire it up. A slight adjustment on one of the four barrels and it was off and running. Attached are some pictures of the finished product and now you can see how pleased I am. Feel free to use these pictures as you wish. With a Tremec five speed behind this engine it is a thrill to step on the pedal. Thanks for all of the support you have given me in the past.

I bought the 418W/500hp stroker, it is a BEAST. I made the drive from central NH to pick it up and the experience was memorable. These guys are impressive, as is the shop, there were motors everywhere awaiting pickup and shipping. Paid half up front and half upon completion. The motor was completed on time for the agreed upon price. Two thumbs up!

Doug and Steve,
It has been a while and I want to give you a report on the 347 you built for us. In the past two years we have entered our truck in desert races, rock races (drag racing over rocks), rock crawls, and rally style hill climbs. We haven’t talked much because there have been absolutely no problems with the engine. We have tortured this thing occasionally running at angles that don’t give oil pressure. We have run it in hill climbs until it revs out reaching temperatures that I care to forget! We have raced and beat others running LS2’s. We have rock crawled and beat competitors running $25,000 Volkswagen motors. We have smashed the oil pan on rocks and dropped the whole truck off a 12 foot wall. After more than 20 races, all I have done is change the oil!
I just wanted to say thanks as I make my living through racing and depend on the engine you guys built. We have won 9 races with this 347. You guys must have something figured out. Rest assured you will be on the top of the list for future trucks.

What's up Proformance Unlimited. This is Lontrel and just started my Chevy 350-320hp engine that you built for me. All I have to say is thanks to everyone at Proformance Unlimited. This thing is a monster man, great job. I love this engine. I haven't got on it yet but it sounds like a beast. Everyone wants to know how to get them one and I just tell them to look at the engines on the website. Thanks one more time for a great engine and pics are coming soon of the '84 Cutlass. Thanks guys and Kim for the 400hp 383. My truck is a 95 1/2 ton Chevy with a straight axle conversion welded 14 bolt full floater rear end with 410's. This engine will melt my 35" tires in high range with ease. It's very street able to the point of my wife driving it to work. I'm getting 10 miles to the gallon with a 4L60E with a 2400 stall under hard driving conditions and that's impressive being I haven't drove this truck with its new power plant and not held it to the floor at some point in my journey. Thanks again for putting together my turn key package it was a big help to have everything ready to go along with the TCI computer system to run my 4L60E.

Thanks to you, Steve, Doug and everyone there for all your help, Hope I wasn't too much of a pain. I am completely satisfied with the motor and transmission. Started up first time. Dear Doug & Steve:
I am writing this letter to you both as a thank you for a great engine that you built for me. I went to the Wildwood, NJ car show on September 23rd 2010 for the first time and while I was there I entered the car show against 900 other cars. Well to my surprise my '69 Mach I Mustang won the "Top Gun" award. This was due to the great workmanship and technical work you did to build the 418 stoker.
I just want to say thank you to all of you, Doug, Steve & Kim. A great company to deal with. I recommend your company to everyone.

Here are some pictures of my 63 Corvette with your 383 installed. The installation was easy and the motor is great. It started right up the way it came to me and I have been putting about a hundred miles a day on it. I was worried about hood clearance but as you said it turned out to clear it just fine. The car feels like a different car with all the power I had hoped for, plus the ability to run on pump gas without pinging. I appreciate that you guys delivered my motor on time and am happy with everything you did. If someone else has a sixties Corvette and is looking for an easy swap for the stock 327 this is a great choice.

Hi Steve & the rest of the team,
Well......it has finally come together.
The 347 stroker is in my 65 Mustang. WOW... what an AMAZING engine!!! Truly you guys are awesome. I was expecting that this was going to be a pretty strong motor but nothing like the package that has come together. Incredible that it came off the dyno EXACTLY as you predicted! You said it would have 425hp and on the dyno, after a few teaks (very little!!) it ran 425hp and put 316hp to the rear wheels. The dyno is one thing, driving it is another! This is a very quick engine! VERY QUICK. What an absolute weapon to drive. Very smooth, very snappy, very quick and very strong.
We had quite a few mods to get everything to work well together, thought you might be interested in our setup. I will forward some video and some pics in the next week. When I get a chance and if you are interested I will send through the specs on the bits we added. Basically we ran new bigger fuel line with electronic high volume fuel pump. I had a hand made 3 inch exhaust to the diff & down to 2.5 inch to pass the fuel tank. WOW it sounds unbelievable. As per the plan I have kept the rest of the car as an original 65. I changed the rims to accommodate bigger tires but kept the hub caps. So from the outside it looks like the classic 65 coupe. Until........you turn the key!
At the traffic lights the whole car shudders from the amount of power and torque running through my old cars veins. Put your foot down and front lifts like a plane taking off. As you can tell I am very excited about the engine you built and I hope that you never tire of hearing from unbelievably happy customers!! I look forward to emailing some great pics and some great video footage that you are more than welcome to use as a testimonial. Feel free to give my email address to potential customers that would like to make contact with existing customers.
