I would like to thank you both and the others in your shop for the 2 motors that you built for me the 302 went in the 77 PINTO WAGON turning consistent 11.98 with over 100- 1/4 mile runs hot lapping you all did a great job on that one, I know I am not the best customer to have but you worked with me and still do when ever I call someone is always there to listen and help, I thank you for that,, You did such a great job I went to the next stage and had you build a 418 stroker, short block and guided me with what it was capable of doing and it does do it, got that in the 88 mustang turning 10.88 in a 1/4 mile and the same thing I take my time between laps but that is a beast of a motor,, you can attach pictures from my MySpace both racing and sitting. We do have another build coming up the El Camino which we have been talking about just have to wait for the wife's permission, THANK YOU I tell everyone I can about you all at PROFORMANCE UNLIMITED and I am sure you got a few customers. I can't help myself. I know I've already expressed my feelings on how happy I am with the 350/350HP Chevy power plant I purchased from your company. Truth be tooled, I've built a few hot rods over the years and have never ventured to far from home with any of them. Note: I recently decided to drive my newly finished truck from St. Mary's Ga. located just north of Jacksonville, Fl. To Rochester New York. I decided to do this for a reason. In 1983 I joined the Navy and bought this truck from the dealership my father worked at. My wife and I drove away from our Wedding reception in this truck in 1989 and needless to say it has a lot of history. My late Wife and Father have since gone, and I decided to make this trip with my old Toy - with them in mind I've got to tell you! I felt like a kid again traveling with no A/C , no tunes and just the sound of duel exhaust. I had so much fun watching heads turn traveling up I-95 and through the mountains of N. Carolina, W. Virginia and Pennsylvania and New York and then back home. This trip was planned only due to the sustained performance of your outstanding power plant. It ran better than my 2007 Tundra and I averaged 12 miles per gal with 529 gears on 40 inch tires. At one point I drove for 17 hours straight only stopping for Gas! Your motor has never skipped a beat since the first time the key was turned.

The engine (Ford 289) arrived today, and it is friggin' awesome. I cannot tell you how happy I am with it. I can't wait to get it in my car. I'm so stoked about this engine. The quality and workmanship is evident, I'm just blown away. The wait was well worth it. We will start putting it in this weekend, send ya some pics when we are done. The run video was awesome.

Factory Five Cobra is up and running. I just wanted to let you know how pleased I am with your engine (Ford 302). It started the first time and ever time hence. It is everything I expected and more! At 2500 RPM in 2d or 3d gear it feels like the car just got a kick in the ass- really breathtaking acceleration for a 300hp engine. I would recommend your engines to anyone who would listen- they're that good.

I purchased a 383 stroker with 450 horse last year from you. Just wanted to let you know it is running awesome. The motor really likes the combo, and the combo fit under my stock hood. The engine is hooked up to a TCI hypo turbo 350 and Moser 12 bolt. The car has 8600 original miles, still kept all the stock parts.

Hey guys. I thought I'd send you some photos (and a brief video) and my appreciation for the engine you built for me. I am very pleased with how everything turned out, and I am having a blast with my car now. I always liked my Camaro, but now with the 350/335 you built for me, and the Monster Transmission you ordered to match, I love the car. For those of your customers like me who aren't looking for 500 Hp, but rather a good reliable amount of thump for a weekend cruiser, I pass on my highest recommendation. Here in the northwoods of Wisconsin I've had a number of below freezing starts and she turns over on the first crank like a dream. Fortunately, this baby is coming to Australia with me, where I have no doubt you will have some additional interested Aussies looking up Proformance on the net pretty soon.

Again, thanks for all your help in not only building the engine I desired, but also in helping us make sure that we got it right and and installed correctly.

I have to admit I'm a fan. It all started with the live run videos. The person who put your website together did a great job. It pulled me in and now I'm part of this unofficial club that seems to be forming itself. Your customers are all proud of their engines and I talk to some of them regularly. It's incredible that your customers including myself tend to communicate with each other. I posted some vids on you tube and people contacted me within days to talk about there engines and how they perform. The amazing thing is some people weren't even from this country. As you know your web site is reaching people from all over the world and your customers are coming together like some high performance enthusiast club. For this to happen you know your doing something right. You guys need to be very proud of yourselves and the success that you have obviously worked very hard for. Not to mention the risks you guys sometime take doing those runs with some of your project cars. The cops must love you guys. Maybe you should donate a engine or two to your local police department or help them out with a pursuit special so they will give you guys a break so you can continue to burn up the pavement out in front of your shop. Some of the vids of your project cars like that green Camaro with the 427 are great. Keep those coming. I hope one day I can purchase another engine package with maybe some turbos or grass roots blower sitting on top of one of your big blocks. Your engines are defiantly habit forming. For now I will have to be satisfied with upgrading my drive line. My 383 is tearing up some parts. I wish I would have let you guys (and Kim) put together my transmission combination along with my engine package. It would have saved me some time and money, not to mention having to deal with the down time. That's really hard to stomach when all I want to do is run this 383. It has so much power but it purrs like a kitten when I'm cruising down the road and when I put the hammer down it screams like a banshee. You guys have built my dream engine and I am so grateful for all your effort that you all have put in to my investment.

It's been a long time coming but I finally was able to finish the car and dyno run the engine.
Couple years ago you built me a Pontiac 455 stroked to 468. I was asking for 500 to 600 HP. Your dyno went down before my engine could land on it.
Well, I'm happy to report that after several jet changes and some other minor adjustments it threw down 553HP and 560FT #'s torque.

You guys & gals are the best!

Here are some current pictures of the VF Hardtop.

Car ran a 7.5 @ 89mph 1/8 mile at Adelaide Raceway basically in street trim. Very impressed as this should adequate to 11.5 for the 1/4 mile. We estimate approximately 430hp and 490 ft/lbs of torque.

Wow, is all I have to say about this 383 stroker I got from your shop. Thanks so much for making such a great motor. The sound and the torque this motor puts out is amazing, also, I have 273 gears in my impala that helps with fuel. I get in the range of 14 to 15 mpg. I am so proud and happy with this motor I am purchasing their 440 stroker to go in my roadrunner. Cant wait for that motor to show up.

Its been a year almost to the day that my motor was delivered and about 9 months since I installed it. From the moment I dropped it in and pumped the gas peddle 3 times and turned the key it started right up and has every time since. I now have about 1300 miles on it have no complaints what so ever with the motor and its performance. I look forward to many years of enjoyment with this motor. Doug And Steve,

The engine looks like a work of art!!! You guys do really nice work!!! The only thing I'm not sure of is the oil pan. I can't completely tell, but is the sump in the front? If so, front lip of the pan where the bolt holes/gasket surface is. I can't really tell from the pictures, so it may actually be the same pan. If you could double check, I'd appreciate it. I don't really want to disturb your fine craftsmanship by having to change out the oil pan if it's not the right one. Besides, my oil pan has a big dent in it.

Once again, the engine looks hot!!! I absolutely can't wait to drop it in and fire it up. The hard part will be waiting a few thousand break in miles before opening up the throttle to see what that big boat is gonna do! LOL!
