This engine began its life as a basic Ford 390 FE block. However, our skilled machinists and engine builders immediately began to transform this 390 ci block into the turn-key Ford 428 crate engine that you see pictured here. Featuring an Eagle cast steel 428 crankshaft, Speed-Pro forged flat top pistons, and Edelbrock Cobra Jet aluminum cylinder heads, this Ford 428 crate engine, cranking out over 500 HP, is certain to instill fear into your passengers.
